EQUITY TIPS ~ INTRADAY SHARE MARKET UPDATES TOMORROW 24 JULY 2013

ECONOMY ANALYSIS:
 Sensex ends off day’s high; HUL, BHEL, Sterlite gain
 L&T Finance Holdings Q1 net up 20% at Rs 145cr on tax refund
 Shriram Transport Finance Corp Q1 net up 6% at Rs 341 cr
 Bayer Cropscience down 8% on buyback price at discount
 Hero MotoCorp Q1 net profit seen down 6% YoY at Rs 580cr
 Deal pipeline strong; see stable Q2FY14: TCS
MARKET ANALYSIS:
 The S&P BSE Sensex pared some of the intraday gains and closed below 20,300 as investors chose to book profits near resistance levels. All the sectoral indices closed in the positive terrain with FMCG, realty and banks leading the upmove.
 The 30-share index closed at 20,293.71, up 134.59 points or 0.67 per cent. It touched a high of 20,351.06 and a low of 20,249.98 in trade today.
 The Nifty ended at 6,075.45, up 43.65 points or 0.72 per cent. It touched a high of 6,093.35 and a low of 6,061.30 in trade today.
 Hindustan UnileverBSE 3.19 % (3.37 per cent), BHELBSE 2.23 % (2.54 per cent), Sterlite Industries (2.05 per cent), ONGC (2.02 per cent) and M&M (1.98 per cent) were among the major Sensex gainers.
 Wipro (2.02 per cent), Bharti AirtelBSE -1.61 % (1.79 per cent), HDFC (0.60 per cent), Coal India (0.58 per cent) and Cipla (0.56 per cent) were among the losers.
 The market breadth was positive on the BSE with 1,148 gainers against 1,150 losers.
